Chocolatier & Chocolatier's Packaging Assistant
An organic, medium scale bean-to-bar chocolate company is looking to fill a full-time Chocolatier offering a unique opportunity for someone to learn the process of making chocolate from the bean on a large scale.
Chocolatier will be fully integrated in production of small batch, all organic bean-to-bar chocolate. Must run machines including but not limited to roaster, winnower, conch, tempering, molding, and wrapping. Research and development along with high end, hand molded production required.
Chocolatier without beans-to-bar experience: Will train for the right candidate. Must be able to learn and follow instructions. Must be meticulous with regards to work cleanliness, must be efficient, motivated and responsible, organized and professional. Positive attitude a must as is working well with others.
Packaging Assistant duties will include but not limited to wrapping bars, packaging orders for shipment, organizing and ordering packaging supplies, general clean up of the station, and assist the chocolatier where ever needed.
Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is requirement, culinary factory/production work a plus.
Office Manager & Book Keeper
An office manager/coordinator with accounting and/or book keeping skills. Must be overly proficient in Quickbooks, Micorsoft Word/Excel, etc. Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must be able to patiently manage all incoming and outgoing accounts, as well as overseeing the office calendar and phone system. You will need to be able to create effective systems, do extensive product research, communicate quickly and efficiently, make decisions, and take on special products.
This has the possibility of being a creative position and can be shaped to fit the right person’s initiative.
